"Future Streets Symposium" is a collective inquiry into human-centric cities and the future of urban mobility. Beyond their function as transit infrastructure, streets evolve alongside society—anchoring public life and weaving together the blueprint of urban development. Hosted by Street Reset, this symposium connects policymakers, developers, scholars, and design and planning professionals to examine how street design can address the complex challenges of contemporary cities.

By taking a closer look at the paths beneath our feet, we aim to explore a distinctly local vision for Hong Kong’s streets. Through cross-disciplinary dialogue, we will uncover possibilities for our streets that extend far beyond conventional imagination.

The symposium will unfold across four key dimensions: 1) Policy Direction, 2) Professional & Data-Driven Research, 3) Public Life & Social Issues, and 4) Pedestrian & Everyday Spatial Experience. From macro policy to micro spatial details, and from institutional frameworks to everyday street corners, join us as we rediscover the ideal path for our city and its people.
